Excellent pizzas

Lovely restaurant with a good menu. Three-course dinner menu for €18.90! Pizza, pasta, salads, and dessert are delicious 👌 I'll definitely be back ☺️

Arriving late in Nantes, we chose this restaurant by default but were not disappointed at all. We received a very warm welcome and the service was quick. We had a very good meal. The restaurant is clean and easy to access.

I shared a meal there with my sister and father; we were delighted. The servers were very polite, and the food was delicious. Perfect.

We had booked for 13 and were planning on having a starter, main course, and dessert, but we were quickly disappointed. The waitress was incredibly rude. Thank you, Madam, for changing careers immediately! Because of her, we decided to have dessert elsewhere. The dishes lacked seasoning, which was a shame, and there was no shrimp in my seafood pasta dish. Sorry, but I probably won't be returning, and neither will my friends.

When it came time to pay, I pointed out to the cashier—who hadn't asked me about my experience that day—that my pasta dish was far too small for my liking. He retorted, with a touch of sarcasm, "Well, couldn't you have ordered dessert instead?!" So, how classy is that at Tosca, you have to buy at least one main course and one dessert for lunch, in portions far exceeding those of a children's menu, QED. Oh, and I almost forgot… To demonstrate to everyone his perfect handling of customers who dare to voice their opinions and to make me feel guilty for having done so, the gentleman called out to me, finding me already with my back to him in the doorway, in a high-pitched and disdainful tone: "It was a pleasure, sir!" What a lovely place.

Unfortunately, the food didn't do justice to Italy. I ordered a chicken Milanese with pasta in tomato sauce, and what I got was burnt, dry chicken, tasteless pasta, and the tomato sauce was still missing. What little there was, and it wasn't good at all. My partner ordered an infinito pizza, which was okay, but the mozzarella, which was supposed to be melted in the picture, wasn't melted at all; it was still cold, straight from the fridge. The food wasn't high quality. Furthermore, I felt watched and listened to throughout the meal, and the waiter took it upon himself to remove the Parmesan and oil before I'd even finished my plate. I felt like they were trying to throw me out. I couldn't finish my meal, and the waiter asked me if I hadn't enjoyed it. I told him no, and he replied OK as if he wasn't interested... too bad, I don't recommend it...

Following your response, I am appalled by your inability to question your own practices. Yet your 3.7 rating reflects your customers' dissatisfaction. If you don't listen to customer feedback, you risk disaster. Now, it's certain that we will never return and that we will strongly advise against your establishment. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- A copy of Del'Arte... but worse. Last Thursday, we dined at this restaurant thinking that the Del'Arte restaurant had reopened. In fact, it's an independent establishment replicating all the hallmarks of the former brand. We therefore expected to eat as well as, or even better than, at a Del'Arte restaurant. What a disappointment… The chicken gnocchi gratin was tasteless: gnocchi swimming in unseasoned cream, flavorless chicken, tasteless cheese, and the whole thing seemed to have been browned with a blowtorch. For dessert, a tiramisu that was nothing more than three or four ladyfingers in a jar of whipped cream… Nothing like a real tiramisu. Clearly, they used only low-quality ingredients… It's a shame because with simple recipes and good, well-prepared ingredients, they could do better than Del'Arte. Furthermore, throughout the entire meal, we could hear the unpleasant noise of the kitchen mixer, which the waiter said was preparing the "tiramisu." As a result, we left disappointed, with a hefty bill for the quality, and… headaches.

Very good pizza. I recommend it.
