Good bakery, but the cakes are quite expensive in my opinion.

We placed an order for a loaf of bread with apricots on December 26th, which we were supposed to pick up the next day. To my great surprise, when the order arrived, the saleswoman informed me that unfortunately, they were out of fig bread because they had sold out. For your information, it was 8:30 in the morning, and I took the liberty of pointing out to the saleswoman that an order placed the day before was no longer available the next day! She took it very badly and, to make matters worse, was extremely unpleasant. Ironically, she wished me a big smile and a very good day. Having a beautiful bakery also implies having staff of equal caliber, which is unfortunately not the case with this person. Fortunately, we have other bakeries in Les Sorinières with much more pleasant and respectful staff.

I tried the Auvergne meat pie, a real treat. Very welcoming.

The bread isn't bad, but it doesn't really have much flavor either. In short, not really worth it, and there are other bakeries nearby.

Thank you to the person who took the time to make us a sandwich around 6 pm, even though they were all sold out, so we could have a snack to finish our trip. It was very kind of them and we really appreciated it. ✨

How is it that I can tie a knot with a "Freshly Prepared" molded baguette? Lidl does better for half the price...

What a wonderful bakery! Especially since the takeover by the new owner. A new, dynamic, and smiling staff, simply pleasant and who know their regular customers. And finally, pastries that actually taste good, even at 10 am! Everything is perfect except the traditional baguette; they're overcooked for my taste. 😉😆 Thank you! 🙏🏽

Absolutely fantastic, so glad to have found you! The welcome is always excellent, friendly, and always smiling! The shop is well-stocked and clean, with a warm atmosphere. The pastries are very good. A couple of minor drawbacks, though: the organic breads are a bit "dry," it's a shame to get the feeling that the good baguette isn't organic, and the organic one is so thin and dry. Maybe I'm a quinoa eater, but a little something sweet wouldn't hurt either 🤓. Also, I was a little disappointed with your sesame baguette. I was expecting something amazing, worthy of your name, but I found it a bit basic, lacking crispness, and the crumb was a little too dense. The sesame seems more for show than a key ingredient in the eponymous baguette. Regarding the pastries, there's a bit of a lack of variety (that doesn't mean they need tons of frozen food, but a few more subtle touches), and I don't think they're organic either. Perhaps there could be more variety in the cookies, for example (if you don't like nuts, you don't get a 🍪). The croissants could be a bit heavier. The pain au chocolat are fantastic! These minor flaws always serve to push the boundaries of excellence. But the foundation is there, and I've earned my loyalty 😊🙃 It's refreshing to have something new in the neighborhood, accessible and readily available. Thank you!
