We had dinner at 1201, just the two of us. The cuisine is remarkable, with well-prepared seasonal ingredients and perfect flavor combinations. The presentation of the dishes is excellent; everything is meticulously crafted. The amuse-bouche could almost be a course in itself, given its quality. The desserts are magnificent. The service is top-notch. One minor drawback: we were seated on the terrace before dinner, and the wait for cocktails was a bit long. The wine pairings during the meal were very well chosen and delicious, but the portions were a little small considering the price. The setting remains superb, with a calm atmosphere—a truly wonderful experience. B. Thomas

Discovering the five-course Equinox menu. The setting is superb, as is the decor in the bar area. The restaurant itself is simple and understated, with nothing out of place. The staff is attentive and very pleasant. The meal was excellent, refined, and visually appealing. I highly recommend this establishment. We will return to explore other options, such as the brasserie.

✨ An exceptional experience for an unforgettable birthday ✨ We celebrated a birthday at the 1201 restaurant at Villeneuve Abbey, and everything was absolutely perfect. The setting is magnificent, calm, and peaceful, ideal for fully enjoying a special moment. The dishes were simply excellent: refined, flavorful, and perfectly executed. Each plate was a true delight, both visually and gastronomically. Big thumbs up for the vegetarian option 🫶🏼 A special mention for the thoughtful touch of the birthday candle, which touched us deeply. This kind of detail truly makes all the difference and makes the moment even more memorable. The service was also top-notch: professional, discreet, and warm. I highly recommend this experience and this exceptional venue. We will definitely be back!

We had lunch as a family of four, opting for the seven-course menu. The dishes were perfect and excellent. However, I was quite disappointed with the overall service, from the reception desk through the bar, the dining room, the cloakroom, and even the final bill. Based on this experience, I felt the service was not up to the standard expected of such a Michelin-starred establishment.

An excellent seven-course meal featuring dishes that alternated between vegetarian and seafood flavors, culminating in sweetbreads. The sauces were superb, and each course was accompanied by a different type of bread. We loved it.

A delightful restaurant in a charming location. Everything was perfect; the five-course menu was well-paced and flowed beautifully. The wine pairings were excellent. I appreciated the classic decor with a few touches of color. A minor point regarding the aperitif; I would have preferred to be presented with the menu so I could choose directly, rather than being asked what I wanted. But that's a small detail.

We came to this restaurant for dinner hoping to have a pleasant time, but unfortunately, our experience was marred by several service errors. As an aperitif, we ordered two virgin mojitos. We were served two cocktails, which we assumed were a variation on the original. However, in the middle of our meal, you brought us two more virgin mojitos, saying, "These are for us." These were nothing like the first two, confirming that there had been a mistake with our initial order, without any explanation being given at the time. When the bill arrived, we asked for clarification about the first two cocktails served, as they were clearly not the virgin mojitos we had ordered. The response remained rather vague, and we felt that you were avoiding simply admitting a mistake. The "gesture of goodwill" consisted of offering us the virgin mojitos... which we had ordered from the start anyway. Furthermore, while serving a course, the waitress spilled a glass of water on the table. No apology was offered. Just as we were about to begin eating, the waitress returned, moved the plate and cutlery, placed a napkin on the table to absorb the water, and then immediately replaced the plate and cutlery—without a word, without a glance, without even a simple "sorry." I therefore ate my meal on a still-damp tablecloth. We understand that mistakes can happen, even in a Michelin-starred establishment. However, the lack of apology, transparency, and consideration is hardly acceptable at this level of excellence. It is regrettable, because beyond the cuisine, the service also contributes to the overall experience. Finally, we would also like to point out that the explanation of the dishes remained extremely brief, especially compared to other Michelin-starred restaurants. At this level, we expect a precise and detailed presentation that showcases the chef's work and elevates the dish. Sincerely, Mr. BERTHO-GOUY

The children gave us a wonderful gift for this fantastic experience and the discovery of this abbey. We enjoyed an aperitif in the magnificent cloister. The service and meal were excellent.
