Not a single bakery in Couëron will get my money. By 10 a.m., the display cases are already empty of pastries and bread, and they don't seem to mind at all. It was worth raising prices, well done!

Best bakery in town. The bread is delicious, and so are the pastries.

Two days in a row: Monday, March 2nd, closed at 7:10 PM; Tuesday, March 3rd, closed at 6:30 PM. No notice, no information. Yet it's supposed to close at 7:30 PM, as confirmed by the sign in the window. Any explanation? I don't like to be negative, but not respecting the opening hours without explanation or a sign is disrespectful! Edit: I finally got to try this bakery, which is the only one left in the neighborhood since the other one retired. The bread and other items aren't bad, but the atmosphere and friendliness leave much to be desired. I asked the waitress (who was friendly) for a coffee and requested some milk if possible (in a bakery/pastry shop, it's usually a readily available item, I think). Her older colleague (the owner?) immediately replied, "No. Period." The employees were working in their own corners. I'm left with a bad impression. A shame for a neighborhood bakery.
